MMA had a float in the annual Uncle Sam Parade on September 9, 2006 in Troy, New York

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

 

          

Three teachers (Rita Cicchinelli, Susan Yates, Melanie Weinlein) and one student (Sarah Yates) from the H.L. Bradt Elementary School, delivered 250 shoe boxes with food and toiletry items to the MMA office last week. Their goal was to fill 100 shoe boxes for their 100th Day of School celebration but the K-2nd graders got into their celebration and provided much more.

We appreciate their support and encouragement to our troops. All the food items they provided have been sent out and we will be sending the toiletry items soon.

 

In 2005 the Girl Scout Council provided us with a lot of Girl Scout cookies to send over to the deployed soldiers.

Thank you!

This year we have had a couple of local Girl Scout clubs provide us many boxes of cookies for the Military.
